Chris and Becki’s wedding took us to the beautiful English countryside of East Sussex, home to the lovely village of Wartling. Tucked away in an idilic, quiet setting, the lane lead us to roaming fields set on a hillside overlooking lush green pastures. In all its glory, the Vintage Bar Box looked like it had arrived home. We positioned our mobile horsebox bar in prime place ready for the big day ahead.
It was a stunning setting for sure. Rustic, vintage and pure in its theme, the marquee and it’s simple touches naturally blended in to the rural, picturesque scene.
Chris and Becki were married at St Mary Magdalene Church in Wartling. The farm lent itself to be the perfect backdrop for their wedding photographs, captured by the talented alternative, retro and cool photographer, Dale Weeks. We especially love the photos of the happy couple taken by the hay bales and the classic red Massey Ferguson tractor.
We greeted the guests in the glorious sunshine with arrival drinks of cool, fruity Summer Cup Pimms. The sun continued the shine, drinks flowed and laughter filled the air. Local Sussex Ale and Suffolk Cider proved to be a big hit in our full service bar hire offering. But the true star of the show thrashing out the hits was Chris and his band. Guests took to the dance floor and danced the night away. It was a fabulous day and we were honoured to have been a part of their special celebration.
