Vintage Bar Box attended the South of England Food and Drink Festival at the South of England showground Ardingly, home to the South of England Agricultural Show.
We served local Sussex Sparking Cider, Sussex Gold – the best selling beer from Arundel Brewery, 100% natural lemonade and of course, Pimms. Dressed as a Pimms bar, the Vintage Bar Box looked absolutely stunning in true British style! Our customers enjoyed the sunshine and entertainment whilst seated on our very retro and vintage, classic deckchairs.
Food Rocks South presented a showcase of the finest food and drink in the South of England, with over 80 of the finest growers, farmers and artisan producers in the South. Over 30 Street Food traders also took part.
There were also food and drink master classes – from cookery to butchery to a tutored English Wine master class, with special guest and Master Chef winner, Steven Edwards.
As a family show, children learned the values of healthy, ethical eating through fun play, arts and crafts and pre bookable Cookies Kitchen cookery workshops.
Local Sussex producers provided craft beer, real cider, English wine whilst visitors listened to live jazz, folk and swing music in The Hay Bale Barn from the sensational James James Gillespie, Red Butler and Brighton Jazz Allstars.
